Dental Implants
in Islamabad.
Every Option.
From a single missing tooth to a complete full-mouth transformation in 72 hours — Hassaan Dental Clinic offers every implant solution available in modern dentistry, guided by CBCT 3D imaging and delivered by Dr. Haris Mehmood, Pakistan's youngest and most decorated implant surgeon.
Every implant solution,
in one place.
Whether you're missing one tooth or need a complete new set — there is an implant solution designed exactly for your situation. Dr. Haris will assess your bone, health, and goals and recommend the right option after a CBCT scan.
Anchored in dense cortical bone — not the alveolar ridge. No bone grafting needed. Fixed teeth within 72 hours. The solution for low bone density cases that other clinics turn away.
Titanium implants placed into the alveolar bone — the globally proven, most widely researched implant system. Ideal for patients with sufficient bone and no time pressure.
Combines basal and conventional implant techniques for complex full-arch rehabilitations with challenging bone conditions — maximising stability and load distribution.
A complete fixed arch of teeth supported by just 4 or 6 strategically placed implants. Immediate or early loading available. Removes the need for individual implants for each missing tooth.
Provisional or permanent teeth fitted the same day or within 72 hours of implant placement — subject to primary stability criteria. Life-changing for patients who cannot tolerate extended edentulous periods.
A comprehensive multi-discipline plan combining implants, crowns, orthodontics, and veneers — restoring full function and aesthetics for severely compromised dentitions in a single coordinated treatment plan.
Important: Unit prices remain the same; final treatment cost may vary after clinical examination. A CBCT 3D scan and clinical consultation (PKR 1,000) are required before any implant plan is confirmed. Prices shown are starting rates per implant unit.
The three core implant systems,
explained clearly.
Understanding what each implant type does — and doesn't do — helps you have a more informed conversation with Dr. Haris. Here's what you need to know.
Basal Implants
(Cortical / Bicortical Implantology)
Basal implants — also called cortical or bicortical implants — are placed in the dense cortical bone of the jaw rather than the alveolar ridge that conventional implants rely on. The cortical bone is the strongest, densest layer of the jaw. It doesn't resorb after tooth loss and is largely free of infection — making it an ideal foundation for implants even when the upper alveolar bone has been lost.
This is the implant system that Dr. Haris Mehmood introduced to Pakistan. Because cortical bone provides immediate mechanical stability, basal implants can be loaded with provisional or permanent teeth within 72 hours of placement — without bone grafting, sinus lifting, or waiting months. The procedure is flapless (no incisions), performed under local anaesthesia, with minimal post-operative discomfort.
Conventional Implants
(Titanium Endosseous Implants)
Conventional dental implants are titanium screws placed into the alveolar bone — the bone layer that once housed the tooth roots. They are the most studied, most widely placed dental implant in the world, with over 30 years of clinical outcome data and a 10-year survival rate consistently above 95%.
At Hassaan Dental Clinic, every conventional implant is preceded by a CBCT 3D scan that maps bone depth, width, and nerve position with sub-millimetre accuracy — eliminating the guesswork that caused many older implant failures. After placement, the implant undergoes osseointegration (bonding with the jaw bone) over 3–6 months before the final ceramic crown is fitted. In appropriate cases — where primary stability is strong — immediate or early loading is possible.
Hybrid Basal Implants
(Combined Cortical-Conventional System)
Hybrid Basal Implants combine the anchorage mechanisms of both conventional and basal implant systems — engaging both the alveolar ridge and the cortical bone simultaneously. This dual anchorage creates exceptional primary stability, making hybrid implants the solution of choice for complex full-arch rehabilitation cases where single-system approaches cannot provide the required stability.
They are particularly effective for patients with significantly compromised bone architecture — including those who have experienced previous implant failure, severe periodontal disease, or extensive bone loss across the arch. As with all implant treatments at Hassaan Dental, a CBCT 3D scan is performed first to map the available bone and determine the optimal implant positioning before any surgical planning begins.

Real situations,
clear recommendations.
Every patient is different. Here's how Dr. Haris approaches six of the most common situations — so you can arrive at your consultation already informed.
"I'm in Pakistan for 5 days. I need implants urgently — I can't afford to wait months for healing. I was quoted £4,000 per implant in London."
"I lost a back molar two years ago. My bone is fine, I want the best long-term solution and I'm not in a hurry. I just want something that lasts."
"I've worn dentures for 10 years. My bone is very low — other clinics told me I'd need bone grafting and two years of treatment. I hate my dentures."
"I had implants placed at another clinic. Two of them failed. I have bone loss from the previous surgery and I'm worried about trying again."
"I have a gap in my front teeth from an accident. My wedding is in 3 months and I need something that looks completely natural and permanent."
"I'm missing 8 teeth spread across both arches. Some bone is still good. I want fixed teeth — not another removable solution."
What to expect
step by step.
Every implant case at Hassaan Dental follows the same transparent, digitally-planned pathway — so you know exactly what's happening at each stage.
Dr. Haris conducts a full clinical examination and a CBCT 3D scan — mapping your bone depth, width, nerve positions, and sinus anatomy with sub-millimetre accuracy. This scan is the foundation of your entire treatment plan and eliminates all guesswork. No implant plan is confirmed without it.
Based on the CBCT data, Dr. Haris presents your personalised implant plan on screen — showing you exactly where each implant will be placed, what the expected outcome looks like, and the full transparent cost breakdown. You ask questions and approve before anything is booked.
Implants are placed under local anaesthesia only — no general anaesthetic needed. For basal implants, the procedure is flapless (no incisions) with minimal post-operative discomfort. For conventional implants, a small flap is raised and the implant is placed into the prepared bone site.
For basal and immediate loading cases, a provisional or permanent crown is attached within 72 hours of implant placement. For conventional cases, the implant heals for 3–6 months during osseointegration, after which a CEREC same-day ceramic crown is milled in-clinic and fitted in a single appointment.
The final crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis is fitted, adjusted, and polished. Dr. Haris verifies occlusion (bite) and aesthetics. You receive aftercare instructions and a follow-up review appointment is scheduled. WhatsApp follow-up is available for all patients, including those travelling internationally.
